Where do the trips come from?
From people who actually went. Every trip is built from a traveler's own photos, videos and notes, including Boop Besties, our tastemakers whose trips get stolen the most. Together they form Boop's trusted experience network: recommendations from real people who've been there.
Is Boop free? How does Boop make money?
Boop is free to use on the web and in the iPhone app. When you book a hotel, experience or ticket through Boop, our booking partner pays us a commission. We share part of it with the Bestie whose trip you booked from, so the people with great taste get rewarded when they help you go.
How does Boop's AI travel bestie work?
In the iPhone app, chat with Boop about where you want to go, your dates, budget and crew. It shapes a plan around you and pulls in picks from tastemakers who've been there. Along the way, Boop automatically turns your camera roll into a trip you can share.
Is my camera roll private?
Yes. Boop's AI is privacy-first. Your camera roll never leaves your phone until you choose to publish a trip.
Can I book through Boop?
Yes. In the app, you can book hotels, experiences and tickets all in one place, with live pricing on more than 3 million hotels and 500,000 activities across Expedia, Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide, StubHub and Tiqets. Direct booking with Boop rewards and perks is coming soon.
Can I earn from my trips?
Boop rewards the people whose trips help others go. Boop Besties earn from the trips they share, and planner rewards for everyone are coming soon. If you have great taste and the camera roll to prove it, apply to become a Boop Bestie.
Who founded Boop?
Boop was founded by Nancy Li Smith, who led consumer AI at Meta and Microsoft and, as CPO, helped scale BrightAI to $100M in revenue. She's also a travel creator, a diver and a wakesurfer, and has called four countries home.
